Building Forward

The goal of IDEXlab is to make every project a practical learning experience. Each one has its own set of real-world goals and limitations making the experience of designing and building them as close to the real thing as a "class" can get.

The biggest diference is integration: the ability for the designers, the builders, and the engineers to be in one place, physically and conceptually, and communicate project decisions as a whole, moving toward one goal instead of seperate groups with seperate goals.

The result is a building throughout which the design, construction, and performance are connected seamlessly. Each decision, however large or small, is discussed, decided, and realized in a way that addresses each discipline involved.
