The mobiLANDING is fully designed, permits have been pulled, and it is expected to be completed in May of 2018. We are more than excited to begin construction, but can only do so with your help! In addition to the benefits listed above, partners will be eligible for a tax write-off of their donations. They also will receive periodic project updates. Donations will not only support the ongoing renewable energy research at Beech Mountain, but will create opportunities for students to have real-world experiences in construction outside of the classroom. This type of experience is invaluable and is often not incorporated in the curriculum of higher education. With your help students at Appalachian State University can continue to have access to this kind of hands-on education, better preparing them for life after graduation.
